Feelings Faced

Welcome to feelingsfaced.com. It is after practicing therapy for eighteen years and reading dozens of self-help and clinical books that I decided to put my knowledge on these pages to aid people in their recovery. In this self-help blog you will be encouraged to identify different emotions and coping skills through the exploration of topics which evoke emotions. The posts on this site are intended to help you process situations and feelings. You might find it helpful to keep a pen and paper next to you so that you can jot down any thoughts, memories and feelings that come up for you while you are reading a post.

To the right is a search box. You can type in a topic and the posts that are related to this word will be displayed. You can also explore this website by picking a topic in the list.

If there is a topic that you’d like more information about please don’t hesitate to put your requests in the comments section. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist who enjoys writing! Below is a link to my latest book, “Coping Skills and Exercises to Overcome Loneliness”. I hope it’s helpful.

Good Luck! Catherine

  2. I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also
with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare
to see a nice blog like this one these days.

    • Hi. Thanks so much for the feedback. I pay a small yearly fee to keep this webpage them going. I can’t remember which theme it is, but it’s one of the simple ones. It’s not a custom design. Good luck to you! Catherine

May I just say what a comfort to find an individual who actually
understands what they’re talking about on the net. You definitely know how to bring
a problem to light and make it important. A lot more people need to look at
this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised you
are not more popular since you surely have the gift.
